In this workshop we will focus on the action of adduction, otherwise known as hugging in to your midline. This awareness and connection is often lost during our practice, but is extremely important for accessing power and strength. We will move through a series of exercises focused on this action, strung together to create a vinyasa flow. Once you are warm and feeling more aware of your deep core muscles, we will work our way towards a few inversions and arm balances to experience the impact of adduction on them. You do not need an inversion practice to benefit from this workshop, but it will certainly lay a strong foundation if you choose to proceed with them in the future.
